Dave Sanderson is a nationally recognized leadership speaker, accomplished author, and inspirational survivor of what is known as "The Miracle on the Hudson." As the last passenger off US Airways Flight 1549, which had to ditch into the river, he took the lessons he learned from that profound experience in the frigid water. He emerged from the wreckage with a mission to encourage others to do the right thing and share how to bounce back with resiliency to address any adversity they may face. He is an author and contributing author of three internationally bestselling books, including Moments Matter, Brace for Impact, and From Turmoil to Triumph. After thirty-six years in sales and sales leadership with roles in companies such as ADP, Peoplesoft, KPMG, and Oracle, Dave founded his executive coaching and personal leadership firm, Dave Sanderson Speaks International, on January 15, 2014. In addition to his 36 years in sales and sales leadership, he was the Director of Security for Tony Robbins for over ten years and was recently named one of the top 100 Leadership Speakers in Inc.com. Over the last ten years, his talks have raised over $14.8M USD for the American Red Cross. He lives in Charlotte, NC, with Terri, his wife of 37 years, and has four children: Chelsey, Colleen, Courtney, and Chance.
